Mena Alexa Suvari was born in 1979. She is a famous American model, fashion designer and actor. Following a brief time as a model in the fashion industry and then a transition to acting by appearing as a guest on TV shows such as Boy Meets World in the 1990s and High Incident. She debuted in film with the drama Nowhere which was which was released in 1997. Her roles in American Beauty, for which she received the BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie led to her being the subject of more attention. Since then she appeared in Loser (2000) along with the American Pie co-star Jason Biggs as well as later portrayed the lead character in the comedy Sugar & Spice (2001). In 2002, she appeared in Spun the drama by an independent company and in 2004's thriller Trauma. She appeared in HBO's dramatic series Six Feet Under. In 2004 she was nominated as an Outstanding Cast member at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008, Suvari was part of several films such as Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh or the movie adaptation to The Garden of Eden. Her most well-known role is in popular television shows like Dark Angel Heroes Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper Rookie Blue and a host of others. She has modelled for many prominent brands, including Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada and the Olympics. Her filmography includes Stick It Backcountry Somewhat Red and wide Awake. Due to her talent her filmography, she did very well with the three films. Missy has a huge heart. She spends her free time participating in various philanthropic causes. She's part of a non-political organization which aims to make comfortable and affordable footwear to South America.
